Asmedia USB 3.0 not working in Windows 10
i did clean install my Windows 10 and right after that update it through windows update, but i noticed in device manager, my USB 3.0 shows yellow exclamation sign http://imgur.com/WmYF63w
Extensible Host Controller Driver Windows 10 1
The problem is, Microsoft's driver has overriden Intel's USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller driver and this is the one causing the issue. Uninstalling either the Intel Bluetooth Driver or Intel (R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.0 (Microsoft), will only make WIndows 10 reinstall back the latest drivers.
then, i install the the USB driver from my CD driver and restart the computer, when i check the device manager, the name of device changed to 'Asmedia XHCI USB 3.0 Host Controller' also with yellow exclamation mark.

Extensible Host Controller Driver Windows 10
Hi all,
So a bit over a year ago I upgraded my Windows 7 - Windows 10, as I'm sure many of us have. I didn't uninstall intel usb 3.0 extensible host controller (As Windows 10 has its own) Anyway, that being said it's been hassle free for all this time until yesterday. For some reason all USB ports have been knocked out. Managing to get to device manager VIA a PS2 keyboard it's showing an issue with said driver (intel usb 3.0 extensible host controller). Partially blaming this (as it seems obvious). Is there any kind of work around? I use a wireless adapter, so annoyingly I can't just go and hop online and do it all that way. - If I just uninstall the driver, will Windows revert to using its own one again? Is there any risks of just uninstalling? Seems like Intel rolled out an update and it has incompatibility with Windows 10 annnd its automatically downloaded and installed the update. Meh, any help will be appreciated TIA
